Feel Noble tour takes you to heaven with 2 exceptional castles, Peles Castle and Cantacuzino Castle, which will make you to feel like a noble man of the 20th century. To be sure that you will feel noble after the tour we will have a wine tasting of the official supplier for “Romanian Royal Court” and a king’s food.
The day is starting with our trip to Sinaia, through the Prahova Valley. We leave behind us some beautiful mountain resorts, Predeal and Azuga and we reach Sinaia, also known as “The pearl of the Carpathians”. Here we will visit the magnificent Peles Castle, an architectural masterpiece. Peles Castle was built in the late 19th century and early 20th century German Renaissance style and has served as a summer residence for the kings of Romania.
After Sinaia we will visit the sprawling Cantacuzino Castle which was completed in 1911. The castle was designed as a hunting lodge for Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, who was twice Prime Minister of Romania at the beginning of 20th century. Surrounded by forest hills, and stunning landscapes for sure you will feel like a noble in the castle and the castle garden. After exploring the inner courtyard, the Cantacuzino family church and the hunting tower, there are grottoes and fountains to discover in the gardens and views towards the Bucegi Mountains. A rare collection of Cantacuzino coats of arms is on display. The lunch will be served on the terrace of the castle to give you the opportunity to relax and to enjoy the landscapes.
In the Feel Noble tour, at the end we hit the road to Azuga town where we will have a wine tasting session at the Rhein Cellar, which is considered the oldest location from the country which produces sparkling wine using the traditional method of making champagne. This method was transmitted from generation to generation and it is very important that in the 21th century there are maintained the same manufacturing techniques as there were used 100 years ago.
Also at the cellars you will have the chance to upgrade your wine collection. Azuga Rhein Cellar is the official supplier for “Romanian Royal Court”, so you will drink what the royalty is drinking.
At this point we will drive you back to Brasov.
