In this full day tour, you will discover Targu Mures and Sighisoara, two cities full of history, we will discover the beauty of Transylvania.

The first stop will be in Targu Mures where we will discover Targu Mures superb sites in a walking tour. Targu Mures is one of the oldest cities of Transylvania, dating from the 13th century.

Targu Mures managed to combined two culture, the Romanian and Hungarian communities. The beauty of the city dates back to the age of the buildings, built in the 15th century, but also to the many architectural styles, from Gothic, Neo-Baroque, Neoclassic, Art Nouveau, Modernist to the modern communist and present-day ones.

The fortress that we will visit was built in the 15th century at the order of Prince Stefan Bathory which ordered for a castle-fortress to be erected around the Franciscan monastery and church. The structure of the towers and the fact that they are square-shaped are indicative of a medieval type military architecture.

We will discover Targu Mures and some of the important buildings from the city, like: The Prefecture Palace (Clock Tower), The Palace of Culture and the Medieval Fortress.

To discover Targu Mures we will try to understand the culinary culture too, so we will have the lunch in the city.

Next we will visit Sighisoara, the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, Dracula. Here we will feel medieval, because Sighisoara is one of the best-preserved city in Europe and the only city in Romania which looks exactly the same way as in the 16th century and it is also the last still inhabited medieval citadel not only in Transylvania but in whole Europe.

Sighisoara is the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, Dracula. Founded by Transylvanian Saxons during the 12th century. Here we will enjoy a walking Sighisoara tour of its medieval center and see its 14th-century Clock Tower, Church on the Hill and the Citadel, we will feel the atmosphere of a medieval city in the modern time.

After we Discover Targu Mures and Sighisoara, we will go back to another medieval city, Brasov.
